Ruth Bernice Matassa paintings

My mother, Ruth Bernice Cantrell Matassa, was born on April 19, 1916. She died on June 27, 2013 at the age of 96. She was a wonderful mother and very artistic. This is the artwork that she painted with oils between 1968 and 1979. My mother never took any art lessons. These paintings all flowed from her natural, God-given talent. All of this art hung on the walls of her home, except for the painting of the elephant that was a gift to me and still hangs in my law office. No one ever saw these paintings but her family and friends. I have put her art on my website so the world has a chance to see it and appreciate her work.
